On 25 and 26 April 2016, Montreal hosted the Aerospace Innovation Summit 2016 organized by Aeromontreal, the aerospace cluster of the greater Montreal area. Bavaria had a dedicated booth, among other goals to present the Ludwig-Bölkow-Campus (formerly BICAS - Bavarian International Campus for Aerospace and Security). It is an industrial, research and education center created in 2012 through the cooperation of various partners from the aerospace industry, the Bavarian government and research & education institutions. Its General Manager, Mr. Alexander Mager (right on picture), was present in Montreal and accompanied in his meetings by Frédéric Arsenault, Project Manager at the State of Bavaria Quebec Office (right), and Ms. Inji Yaghmour, International Affairs Adviser at the Quebec Ministry of Economic Affairs, Science and Innovation (center). LBC recently undertook a cooperation program with CRIAQ (Quebec center for research & innovation in aerospace). Picture State of Bavaria Quebec Office
