On May 26, 2016, the city of Sherbrooke (Québec) welcomed a delegation of consular representatives in Quebec, among them the Director of the State of Bavaria Quebec Office, Mr. Benjamin Emans (background, right). During the day, the group composed of representatives from 14 countries across the globe, met with the mayor Mr. Bernard Sévigny and visited the innovation start-up incubator/accelerator Espace-inc. 4 visit roues followed throughout the city, according to the participants' sectors of interest -- life sciences, clean technologies, nanotechs or high tech production. The group also learned more about Sherbrooke's business environment, its key industrial branches, entrepreneurial initiatives and the R&D ecosystem, expertise and technological infrastructures associated with its knowledge economy -- in collaboration with Sherbrooke Innopole, l’Université de Sherbrooke and Bishop’s U.
