« Through to the classical singers support program Jeunes Ambassadeurs lyriques and to the support of the State of Bavaria Quebec Office, a partner in this program, I was awarded a travel grant for my stay in Munich, to take part in an intensive course at the Bavarian State Opera's "Opernstudio". This was an opportunity for me to dive into a professional singers' world, to be part of a dynamic team and to benefit from the precious advice in order to strengthen my apprenticeship. It was an extremely enriching experience, be it on a personal, professional or social scale. Soprano and pedagogue Margreet Honig, musical director Tobias Truniger, and stage movement coach John Norris greatly helped me deepen my knowledge and experience, and I learned a lot also from the other members of the Opernstudio. I am fondly grateful to the State of Bavaria Quebec Office for their continuous support of us young artists through programs like the Jeunes Ambassadeurs lyriques. » Photo Suzanne Taffot (courtoisie)
