Scientific cooperation: Meeting a Ph.D. student from TU Munich currently Research Associate at Montreal's GERAD

Alexander Döge, Lea Pfäffel

In early October 2017 we met with Mr. Alexander Döge, Ph.D. student from Munich's Technical University (TUM) School of Management. He is specializing on Operations and Supply Chain Management, currently working at Montreal's GERAD (Groupe d’études et de recherche en analyse des décisions), a multi-university research center, on an algorithm optimizing the shift planification of physiotherapeutics in hospitals. GERAD has developed an international reputation for such fields. Mr. Döge is a holder of the students & scientists mobility funds of the Bavarian Alliance for Research (BayFOR), represented here by Ms. Lea Pfäffel, Project Manager.
