11.11.2009

On the occasion of the XVIth Program of Young Lyrical Ambassadors and the IIIrd International Lyrical Encounters of Montreal, the State of Bavaria Quebec Office is pleased to invite you to the traditional Lieder Evening which will be held November 13th at Chapelle historique du Bon Pasteur (Montreal). This evening will be placed under the co-presidency of Mr. Klaus Geyer, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, and Mr. Pierre Robion, Consul General of France, ans will be held in presence of the State of Bavaria Quebec Office director, Mr. Daniel Curio.

In this jubilee year celebrating 20 years of Quebec-Bavaria cooperation, the artistic exchanges have never been livelier. Just as in 2008, a young Bavaria singer has been invited to perform in Montreal this year, while the chief dramaturge of the Munich theater Gärtnerplatz, Mr. Christoph Maier-Gehring, seats the Program of Young Lyrical Ambassadeurs' international selection committee. Last but not least, a young Quebec soprano, Ms. Audrey Larose-Zicat, is staying with the Nurenberg Opera House this year to perfect her skills there. As of November 14 she will hold the role of one of the Three Boys in W.A. Mozart's Magic Flute.
