Bavaria at the Montreal World Film Festival from Aug. 27 to Sept. 7, 2009


Since August 27 and going on until September 7, the Montreal World Film Festival offers a high profile selection of international motion pictures, among which also three Bavarian films:
•    Waffenstillstand (Dir. Lancelot von Naso, category World Competition) of which the last showing occurs today at 2 p.m. at Cinéma Impérial
•    Draussen am See (Dir. Felix Fuchssteiner, category First Films World Competition) presented on Sept. 1, 2, 3 and 4 at theater Quartier Latin (resp. 9:20 pm, 12:40 pm, 2:40 pm and 7 pm)
•    Alias (Dir. Jens Junker, category Documentary) to be seen today at 5 pm as well as on Sept. 3 at 12:30 pm, also at theatre Quartier Latin

In the aftermath of recent Bavarian film successes on an international level, we wish the Bavarian motion pictures presented this year at Montreal's WFF to be yet another sign of Bavaria's creativity!
