As of Friday, December 3, come and experience the magic of a German Christmas Market in Québec!


The 3rd German Christmas Market in Québec will take place December 3-5 and 10-12, 2010, in the yard of the Holy Trinity Cathedral, 31 rue des Jardins in Old Québec (upper town, close to Chateau Frontenac). The German Community Québec, producer, and the State of Bavaria Quebec Office, its partner, invite you to come and discover this ancient German tradition within the magical setting of Old Québec. Enlighted wooden huts, beautiful Christmas decorations and many activities will take you to a magical world.

Part of the cultural program, the State of Bavaria Quebec Office offers 2 free concerts: Saturday Dec. 11 at 5:00 pm and Sunday Dec. 12 at ... in the Cathedral, the zither player Willi Huber, who will come from Munich on this occasion, shall demonstrate that his instrument is suited for Christmas music just as much as for tradition alpine songs.
A wonderful excursion for family and friends:
- the Cathedral's yard will be fitted out in order to facilitate strolls around the wooden huts
- ancient traditions of Glühwein and Lebkuchen (hot spicy wine and typical ginger bread) will be presented
