October 22-26, 2012: An economic and scientific delegation from Bavaria will accompany Bavarian Economics Minister Martin Zeil on his visit to the partner region Quebec: Discussions and meetings will focus around infrastructures, Great North development and electro-mobility

The Bavarian Minister of Economics, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology, Mr. Martin Zeil (picture), will be visiting Quebec on October 22-26, 2012, accompanied by an approximately 40-strong economic and scientific delegation. The program will take them to Montreal, Quebec and Sept-Îles.

In the focus are the issues of infrastructures and the development of the Great North of Quebec, since both offer extremely interesting business opportunities to Bavarian companies. The accompanying delegation will comprise experts, business people and scientists from the branches:

Discussions with decision-makers from public administration, business and research shall help to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation, as well as to identify concrete business opportunities and contacts with potential business partners. Aside from Minister Zeil’s political meetings with representatives of the new Quebec cabinet, the delegation members will be offered meetings with companies, plant visits, as well as a visit of the harbour city Sept-Îles.

Furthermore, on the occasion of the congress EV 2012, Minister Zeil will present the Bavarian-Saxon initiative “Elektromobilität verbindet”, undertaken in cooperation with their international partner, the province of Quebec.
