The fifth edition of the German Christmas Market in Quebec City expands: November 30 through December 9, 2012!

In Germany since the Middle Ages, the traditional Christmas market is held each year outside, usually on the central place of cities or villages. This year again, the city of Quebec will witness a charming little kiosks' village assembled on a traditional patterne. For the first time ever, the German Christmas Market in Quebec will last 10 whole days: From November 30 through December 9, 2012!

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover many delicious products such as mull wine, German Christmas pastries, ginger bread, sausages, warm chestnuts and local food products. Several high standard artisans will also offer their exclusive Christmas production.

A cultural program will offer free concerts to the public (to be announced)

When: November 30 to Decembrer 9, 2012.

11 am to 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, 11 am to 6 pm on Sundays, 3 to 6 pm on week days.

Where: Place de l’hôtel de Ville, in front of Quebec City Hall and Basilica, Vieux Québec
