The Bavarian job market excels in comparison to the situation in the rest of Germany and has the best position of all German regions. Furthermore it is perfectly prepared for future challenges. Bavarian Labor and Social Affairs Minister Mrs. Christine Haderthauer underlines: “The Bavarian labor market is doing very good. A multitude of impressive ratios proves the success. The unemployment rate in October was by far the lowest in Germany with 3.4%, and Bavaria has the highest employment rate of all German regions with 75.8%. In addition to that the women employment rate, 70.4%, is 3% higher than the Federal Republic average.”

She adds: “By comparing the situation to that in other European countries, it becomes very clear that this performance must be highly considered. Today, full employment is already reality in many regions in Bavaria.” Martin Zeil, Minister of Economic Affairs, concludes: “The stable labor market in Bavaria is a merit of our creative, innovative and competitive companies and our highly qualified employees. At the same time it is a result of smart economic policies.”
