Is there a Jewish arts and culture “scene” in Germany today?

Daniel Grossmann, founder, conductor and artistic director of the Jewish Jakobsplatz Orchestra Munich, will take up this question and much more in an public talk presented by the Fondation Arte Musica, in partnership with the German Consulate General in Montreal and the State of Bavaria Quebec Office.

The audience will have the opportunity for an exchange with Mr. Grossmann regarding the Orchestra as well as Jewish cultural life in contemporary Germany today.

Ericalehrer2Dr. Erica Lehrer (right) will be leading the discussion. She is Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in History and Sociology-Anthropology at Concordia University and the author of Jewish Poland Revisited: Heritage Tourism in Unquiet Places (2013).
