E-Mobility Workshop Bavaria-Québec in Montréal: Successful visit of Bavarian experts in Québec

A successful “E-Mobility Workshop” took place in Montreal on  June 5th 2014, jointly organised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Québec and the State of Bavaria Quebec Office around the main topics Battery Technology and Smart Microgrids.

The four Bavarian experts who were invited as speakers for that purpose met more than 30 Quebec researchers and scientists. The workshop has triggered the participants’ interest to cooperate in future, as stated by some high ranking participants who displayed a great interest in founding a Bavaria-Québec research consortium in electric mobilty.

Part of the program organised by the State of Bavaria Québec Office, the Bavarian experts visited several companies and institutions, among them IREQ (research institute of Hydro-Québec, Phostech Lithium (Clariant/ formerly Südchemie), the University of Laval in Québec, INRS-EMT (Nnational Research Institute, areas Energy, Materials and Telecommunications) as well as RTC (transport company of the city of Québec).
