Bombardier Business Aircraft is strengthening its customer services network in Europe with a regional support office in Munich. The office will accommodate the growth of business aircraft customers in Europe. Munich is a fantastic location,” said Andy Nureddin, vice president of customer support and training for Bombardier Business Aircraft. “It’s central to most of our customers.”

More than 570 Bombardier business jets are in operation in Europe. The office is  Bombardier’s second in the region and 15th regional support office worldwide. The office will initially be staffed with four field service representatives, three customer support managers, one spare parts sales manager, one field service administrative analyst and one regional support office manager.

Bombardier is also inaugurating its basic aircraft health management services system. The system provides connectivity to the aircraft. It will have the capability to upload and download data, including trend analysis and other information to the customer or to the customer and Bombardier.

“This is not something that is theoretical,” Nureddin said. “It is something that is here today.” The system was launched on the Learjet 75. It has received a tremendous amount of interest from customers, he said. About 10 customers are using it today.

The program will be available on the Global 5000 and 6000 in early 2016. It will also be included on the Global 7000 and 8000.
