14.12.2015

On November 19, 2015, Bavaria’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Ms. Ilse Aigner, attributed the Bavarian Export Award 2015 to 4 companies with less than 50 full-time employees from the categories Industry, Commerce, Craftsmanship and Services. Ms. Aigner points out: “Bavarian companies stand for quality and their products and services range strengthen Bavaria’s reputation abroad. The awardees have mastered the challenges of foreign markets remarkably and were able to achieve significant goals on the world map. With sometimes very small teams, they have conquered new markets with innovation, courage and flair.”

The awardees of 2015 were:

  • Industry: MAWA GmbH from Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, Upper Bavaria
    (manufacturing of clothes hangers)
  • Services: Timber Concept GmbH from Weißenberg, Swabia
(consulting, planning and implementation of wooden constructions)
  • Commerce: Optima Pharmazeutische GmbH from Wang, Upper Bavaria
(medical care products for eyes, throat, nose, ears and mouth)
  • Craftsmanship: Novoflow GmbH from Rain, Swabia
    (filtration specialists)

Aigner continues: “Exports remain a central success factor when you look at jobs, growth and well-being in Bavaria. With an export rate of 52%, our manufacturing trade makes every second Euro abroad. Their export success strengthens the companies back in Bavaria.” (…) The Export Award 2015 was attributed for the 9th time jointly by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Media, Energy and Technology, the Bavarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Bavarian Chamber of Crafts.
