Le Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec, together with its Bavarian partner Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus, offers a crossed literary residency program to Quebec writers and comic authors and will accept applications until November 27, 2017. The Quebec participants will stay for two months at Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus in Schwandorf-Fronberg, close to Regensburg, later in 2018.

For further information on this cooperation program, please refer to our French version.

For further information about the application process, please refer to the website of Le Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec.

Staying at Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus enables the participants to retreat for creative purposes and at the same time to make contact with international artists from other disciplines. The selected Quebec writer and comic author will take part in Open House activities, have access to local and regional museums and to the literature archives Sulzbach Rosenberg / Literaturhaus Oberpfalz, a renowned Bavarian institution in contemporary literature.

The town of Schwandorf is located 30 minutes away from Regensburg, medieval city listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, 1 hour away from Nuremberg, 2.5 hours away from Munich and 4.5 hours from Prague, in the Czech Republic.
