Typically Bavarian music for the Advent: 3 free concerts in Montreal and Quebec

To discover the typical Advent and Christmas atmosphere in Bavaria, what's better than to experience it? The State of Bavaria Quebec office, together with the Montreal Goethe Institut and the German Community Quebec, offer 3 different opportunities to this end during the upcoming week end.

Friday, December 10, from 5 to 7 pm, join the Goethe Institut's Christmas Party! (418 Sherbrooke East in Montreal). Coming especially from Bavaria, Mr. Willi Huber, renowned citharist, will offer a variegated program mixing German Christmas songs and other musical excerpts to unveil all the possibilities of his instrument. The public is also invited to see the film "Messy Christmas" by Vaness Jopp.

Satudray, December 11, cithar tones will ring out further downstream: at 5 pm, Willi Huber shall perform in a solo concert at the Holy Trinity Cathedral at the heart of beautiful Old Quebec. This concert is part of the cultural program of the German Christmas Market taking place around the Cathedral. Another mixed musical presentation should easily convince the sceptical that the cithar is suited for all kinds of music beside the famous Alpine "yodl".
Eventually, on Sunday December 12, Willi Huber will accompany the German Choir for its family concert at 2:30 pm in the Holy Trinity Cathedral. For more details on those 2 concerts, please consult the Christmas Market's cultural program:
All three concerts are free of charge: the team of the State of Bavaria Quebe office and its partners would be delighted to welcome a large public!
